Long Mach had been in the motorcycle repair business for almost thirty years when he and his wife, Becky, decided to open a shop of their own. In April of 1996 they opened MACH 1 MOTORCYCLES, a performance motorcycle shop. Long’s expertise as a service technician soon had customers talking, and the word spread quickly. Today MACH 1 MOTOR CYCLES is a full service repair shop. We offer our customers a variety of services such as Dyno testing, tire replacement, and tune and service on many makes and models.
Richard Vincent is our Dyno Tech, and has been working at Mach 1 since March, 2002. People say he does the best Dyno tune in Orange County. Shortly after moving from Salt Lake City to Fountain Valley in 1987, Long and Richard became acquainted when Richard went to work at Orange County Suzuki, where Long was the Lead Technician. Before coming to Mach 1, Richard’s experience included 5 years at the Vance & Hines Motorcycle Center in Anaheim where he was a carburetion and diagnostics specialist. He also worked for 7 years as the Service Manager for a large multi-line motorcycle dealership in Orange County.
Richard’s reputation for performing only top quality work is validated by endorsements from Dynojet, Bazzaz, Rotweiller Intake Systems, Predator Exhausts and factory race team mechanics. Internet buzz is overwhelmingly positive. Let Richard Dyno Tune your bike and you won’t be disappointed!
